If you’re planning to book a 2016 vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort we have some details on what those packages include.
A Magic Your Way package will include hotel room and park tickets – and you can add the Park Hopper or the Water Parks and More option if you choose. In addition to rooms and tickets guests will also receive some additional “perks” with their packages including discounts on merchandise, dining, and activities.
Some of the activity discounts include: four mini golf vouchers per room good for play before 4 p.m. at Fantasia Gardens and/or Winter Summerland; four vouchers for general admission to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex valid for event days only; a 10 percent discount at Splitsville Luxury Lanes on bowling or food and a 10 percent discount at Sammy Duval’s Watersports at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Discounts for certain dining locations include: 20 percent off food and non-alcoholic beverages at House of Blues; 20 percent off at Joffery’s Coffee & Tea Company at select locations; 15 percent off food at Planet Hollywood; 10 percent off at Portobello Country Italian Trattoria; and 10 percent off at Wolfgang Puck Grand Café.
Certain benefits are no longer included in packages including an arcade game card, Disney Tours discount, DisneyQuest admission vouchers, and spa and salon services discounts.
The booking terms for 2016 packages were also changed. Guests can book up to one day in advance online and by phone with a $200 deposit rather than a one night’s stay for room-only bookings.
Final payment for bookings is now due 30 days prior to arrival rather than previous 45 days. Packages can also now be cancelled with no penalty 31 days prior to arrival.
